Playground Pals

Our playground pals are children who have volunteered to ‘work’ in the playground, helping other children with playing games and trying to ensure that everyone enjoys a happy playtime and lunchtime.

Our team is made up of Year 2 pupils in Class 2, and is organised by Mrs Roy. They keep a watchful eye on the Playground Friend Stop and the Peace Tree for anyone seeking help, and wear a yellow vest so that they are clearly visible. They also organise the playground toys, play alongside the younger children and act as helpers for the lunchtime play leaders.

A Meadow Lane Infant Playground Pal is:

  1. Kind and caring
  2. A good listener
  3. Understanding of other people’s feelings
  4. Sensible
  5. Fair
  6. Cheerful and happy to help!

Our Playground Pals are:  Bipu Gaire, Zachary Bacon, Rueben Bradshaw, Dylan Lucyszyn-Hinton, Halina Allen, Libby Baker, Nancy Jones, April Rhymes, Lucy Hobbs and Eva Stacey.
